The tool tells a firm whether its website is listed on major spam and malware blocklists, flagged by antivirus vendors, or failing the email authentication checks that decide whether an offering memorandum reaches an inbox.
The feature was built after a client discovered that several antivirus vendors had flagged their website and their domain was appearing on spam lists. Nobody at the firm knew until a prospect mentioned it, and their listing emails had been landing in spam folders for weeks.
The check queries Spamhaus DBL and ZEN, SURBL, Barracuda and SpamCop for both the domain and its server IP addresses, asks VirusTotal and Google Safe Browsing whether any security vendor flags the site, and tests the SSL certificate along with SPF and DMARC records. Every result names its source and shows the underlying evidence, including the exact DNS lookup behind each blocklist result, so any finding can be verified independently.
Firms can also schedule the check to run daily or weekly. Monitoring stays silent until something changes — a new blocklist entry, a vendor flag or a certificate about to expire — which is typically days before a client or prospect would notice.
The launch extends DeshTEK Digital's focus on how commercial real estate firms are found online.
